Following the reinstatement of flights by T'way Air to Taichung International Airport in early 2024, Starlux Airlines will also make a dazzling debut at Taichung International Airport starting March 31st, offering fixed routes to Macau, Vietnam's Da Nang, and charter flights to Takamatsu, Japan. This expansion aims to provide more travel options for the residents of central Taiwan. To welcome Starlux Airlines, the National Immigration Agency conducted an early meeting with Starlux Airlines ground staff on March 26th. The meeting focused on business promotion and discussions regarding immigration clearance.

The National Immigration Agency stated that during the meeting, in addition to soliciting assistance from Starlux Airlines colleagues to promote the online arrival card for foreign travelers, detailed explanations were provided regarding the valid passports and travel documents for inbound and outbound passengers of different nationalities. This ensures the validity and accuracy of passengers' documents and aims to create smoother and more convenient immigration services, thereby jointly safeguarding national border security.
