1.On April 7, 2025, Professor Bang-Lee Chang of the Department of Architecture and Urban Design at Chinese Culture University led a group of 90 participants, including faculty members and students, on a visit to the Materials Experiment Center and Intelligent Living Space, Architecture and Building Research Institute, Ministry of the Interior.
2.The visit included guided tours of both the Large-Scale Structural Testing Laboratory and the Materials Testing Laboratory Building, led respectively by Director Huang and Doctor Lee. Highlights of the tour included demonstrations and explanations of the 3,000 MT Hydraulic Testing System, L Type Reaction Wall and Strong Floor Testing Systems, a 250 MT Dynamic Hydraulic Testing System, and various results from seismic testing research. In addition, the group was introduced to advanced materials durability testing equipment such as the Xenon Arc Lamp Type System, Salt Spray Tester, and Temperature & Humidity Chamber.
3.Real-time demonstrations using actual specimens provided visitors with a deeper and more specific understanding of structural component mechanics and accelerated aging experiments for building materials. The session was marked by active interaction between the presenters and guests, leaving a strong impression and concluding successfully.
