Central Police University held its Joint Commencement Ceremony on the morning of June 6, 2025. A total of 410 graduates were awarded degrees, including 18 doctoral degrees, 100 master’s degrees, 194 bachelor’s degrees from the four-year program, and 98 bachelor’s degrees from the two-year program. President Lai Ching-te personally presided over the ceremony, and Minister of the Interior Liu Shyh-fang also attended to offer her congratulations, demonstrating their strong support for and recognition of police education.
In addition to offering his congratulations, the President shared three pieces of advice for the graduates. First, he emphasized the importance of personal safety. Second, he encouraged them to take good care of their families. Third, he urged them to uphold the university’s motto, “Integrity”—to remain truthful, deceive neither themselves nor others, serve the people with sincerity, and perform their duties faithfully and thoroughly. He also reminded graduates to continue learning, stay updated with new knowledge, and leverage technology to enhance their investigative skills.
Finally, the President encouraged all graduates to stay true to their original aspirations and to keep in mind their teachers’ guidance and teachings, so that they may succeed in their careers, find happiness in their families, and experience a true sense of accomplishment. He concluded by wishing the graduates a smooth and prosperous journey ahead. The second part of the ceremony was then presided over by the Minister of the Interior, who oversaw the presentation of diplomas and the graduates’ speeches of gratitude. Amid an atmosphere of joy and celebration during the group photo session, the graduation ceremony came to a successful and heartfelt conclusion, as students and faculty exchanged farewells with warm wishes.
