（1） Who is eligible? Foreign seamen who are aboard the ship or those foreign personnel who need to enter the country due to the nature of their work aboard the ship?
（2）Application procedure: For applying a temporary entry permit for foreign sea personnel, the shipping representative should submit a temporary entry application form to the international affairs section of the bureau before the temporary entry occurs.
（3）Note:
1. In the application for temporary stay, the foreign seaman should fill out the name, address, CEO, person-in-charge, ship’s call sign, and estimated time of port entry; the company chop should be affixed to the document. The handwriting on the seamen logs should be legible and the information should be accurate. Japanese seamen should have Chinese names.
2. Individuals who are allowed to temporarily stay in the country is limited to entering and exiting through the same port; limit of the length of stay is the day the mode of transportation leaves the country.
3. If the application is approved, the individual, for whom the application was filed, should abide by the laws of the ROC; the applicant should be responsible for all expenses incurred by the individual in the course of his stay; the applicant should also provide all the necessary assistance.
4. The application for temporary entry into the country should be filed two days before the ship enters port.
