Standards for Service Fees of the National Land Surveying and Mapping Center, Ministry of the Interior

Article 1        This Standard is promulgated based on Paragraph 1 of Article 10 of the Charges and Fees Act.

Article 2        The National Land Surveying and Mapping Center, Ministry of the Interior (hereinafter referred to as NLSC) provides surveying and mapping services to the public with the charges and fees based on this standard.

Article 3        The charges and fees for the Standard are itemized as below:

1.      The charges and fees for survey maps are itemized as shown in Table 1.

2.      The charges and fees for electronic files are itemized as shown in Table 2.

3.      The charges and fees for scanning maps or documents are itemized as shown in Table 3.

4.      The charges and fees for map file output services are itemized as shown in Table 4.

5.      The charges and fees for e-GPS services are itemized as shown in Table 5.

6.      The charges and fees for court authorized cases are itemized as shown in Table 6.

7.      The charges and fees for surveying and mapping data viewing on telecommunications network are itemized as shown in Table 7.

Article 4            Signing cooperative contracts with NLSC on preparing survey maps that requires applying for data listed in Subparagraph 2, 3, 5 or 7 of the previous article are entitled to discount or exemption based on the actual needs and should indicate in the contract.

The discount of the charges and fees will be 50% as stipulated in Table 2, 3, 5, or 7. 

Local land administration applying for information as stated in Subparagraph 2 or 7 of the previous article is entitled to free of the charges and fees.

Local land administration applying for e-GPS services as stated in Subparagraph 5 of the previous article is entitled to 30% discount.

Providers of real-time satellite observation data and venues for satellite base stations applying for e-GPS services as stated in Subparagraph 5 of the previous article is entitled to 50% discount per station.

Academic units conducting research plans without supportive funds or commercial profits applying for e-GPS services as stated in Subparagraph 5 of the previous article is entitled to NT$20 off per station per day.

Article 5           Postage and shipment charges and fees required to deliver each subparagraph listed in Article 3 shall be borne by the applicant.

Article 6           Except that table 1 ~ 4 and table 7 of Article 3 that will be put into practice on the date of announcement, article 6 shall be put into practice on January 1st,2009.
