Prohibited  Activities Regulations in the Domain of Shei-Pa National Park

  1. Any sale, display, transport, or collection of animals, plants, ores, and their specimens or derived products which are illegal or shall be protected under the National Park Law and other applicable laws and regulations, is prohibited.

  2. It is prohibited to set up stalls or peddle goods outside of the designated commercial area.

  3. Earth filling, land leveling, or dumping of soil and rocks against regulations is prohibited.

  4. Establishment of votive offering facilities or graves, hanging or placement of trail markings, or other facilities that disturb the landscape is prohibited.

  5. Boisterous dancing and singing, lighting campfires, cooking, playing musical instruments, using speakers, lighting fireworks, horseplay while in the water, grass boarding, operating drones, or participating in other activities which could disturb tranquility and safety of the public community are prohibited without permission.

  6. Littering food waste, plastic bottles, polystyrene, plastic products, and other objects and trash not compostable or biodegradable outside of designated locations is prohibited.

  7. Shotguns, cables, nets, clips, cages, batteries, poison, and other hunting equipment capable of capturing, hunting, harming, or poisoning wildlife are prohibited from entering the National Park.

  8. Any digging or setting of traps or using the landscape, terrain, and equipment to lure and capture wildlife is prohibited.

  9. Entry into Qijiawan Creek, Gaoshan Creek, Taoshan Creek, and North Taoshan Creek without authorization is prohibited.

  10. With the exception of official personnel on duty, entry into the East Branch of Dalu Forest Road is prohibited outside of the period between 5:00 am and 11:00 am.

  11. It is prohibited to climb to the peak of Dabajian Mountain.

  12. Camping and setting up tents outside of campgrounds or designated camping areas without permission are prohibited.

  13. Changing and altering authorized routes and itinerary upon entering the Ecological Protection Area are prohibited.

  14. Destruction of signs, view-watching platforms, cabins, restrooms, and other public facilities is prohibited.

  15. Feeding wildlife or releasing, abandoning animals is prohibited.

  16. It is prohibited to bring pets into the Ecological Protection Area or the Special Landscape Area.

  17. Political activities and actions with the potential to cause social disputes or conflict are prohibited.
