Household registration statistics data analysis in July 2023

1. According to the household registration data, there were 9,180,345 households at the end of July 2023. Compared with the same month last year, there increased 153,889 households with an increase rate of 1.70%.

2.By the end  of July 2023, the total population was 23,392,423 with an increase of 202,359 compared with the same month last year. The population growth rate was 0.87% which meant that the average daily increased was 554.4.

3. By the end of July 2023, the male population was 11,548,206 and female population was 11,844,217. The sex ratio was 97.50 compared with male to female.

4. There were 10,891 babies born in July 2023 which decreased 0.54% compared with the same month last year. The average showed that a baby was born about every 4.1 minutes. The annual crude birth rate was 5.48‰.

5. There were 17,992 deaths in July 2023 which decreased 1.22% compared with the same month last year. The average showed that there was about one death at every 2.5 minutes. The annual crude death rate was 9.06%.

6. The couples of marriage were 10,173 in July 2023. Including 9,922 couples of different gender and 251 couples of the same gender. The annual crude marriage rate was 5.12‰.

7. The couples of divorce were 4,668 in July 2023. Including 4,610 couples of different gender and 58 couples of the same gender. The annual crude divorce rate was 2.35‰.

8. There were 104,343 in-migrants in July 2023 which increased 2.75% compared with the same month last year. In the same time there were 78,102 out-migrants which decreased 13.70% compared with the same month last year.

9. At the end of July 2023, the indigenous people was 586,905 with an increase of 4,897 compared with the same month last year (2.51% of the total population).

10. At the end of July 2023, the population aged 0 to 14 was 2,813,910 (12.03% of the total population). The population aged 15 to 64 was 16,377,963 (70.01%). The population aged over 65 was 4,200,550 (17.96%). In addition, the population aged over 20 was 19,532,783 (83.50%).
