Individuals with Free Photo Coupon for the Comprehensive Replacement of National Identification Cards may go to the Household Registration Office to have Their Pictures Taken prior to the Comprehensive Replacement Date

Comprehensive replacement of the National Identification Card began on December 21, 2005 and will end on December 31, 2006. Low and Semi-Low income citizens with coupons for free pictures, the household registration office shall arrange for a specific time and notify the individual about moving the date of the picture taking forward. The photographs shall be in the safekeeping of by the household registration office, which shall notify the individual to come and get the new ID card after the new ID card is made during the comprehensive replacement period.

Members of Low and Semi-Low income citizens who have not had their pictures taken before December 21, 2005, may go the household registration office to have their pictures taken at the ID replacement time designated by the office. If the picture is taken at another studio using the free coupon, the individual may apply for ID card replacement and submit his/her picture during the time designated by the household registration office.

For Low and Semi-Low income citizens with comatose individuals caused by serious sickness and injury, vegetables, and senior or serious physically and mentally disabled persons with limited mobility may request the household registration office to go to their place of residence and take the pictures for them.
