National Airborne Service Corps Duty Implementation Statistics in February 2021

  1. Disaster relief

    1. Response to fire: 63 sorties, 11 passengers, 2,930 kg of material, equipment or fuel carried, 468 tons of water dropped, 234 water dropping runs.



  2. Search & rescue

    1. Search and rescue in the mountains: 12 sorties, 10 people rescued, 3 passengers.

    2. Search and rescue at sea: 17 sorties, 2 people rescued.



  3. Emergency medical

    1. Medical referral: 9 sorties, 9 people rescued, 9 passengers.



  4. Reconnaissance

    1. Maritime (coastal) aerial patrol: 5 sorties.

    2. Aerial photography for homeland planning: 11 sorties, 4 passengers.



  5. Transportation: 1 sortie, 5 passengers, 430 kg of material, equipment or fuel carried.

  6. Preparation

    1. Training flight: 79 sorties.

    2. Maintenance flight (factory flight test): 82 sorties.

    3. Test run: 105 sorties.

    4. Joined duty training: 3 sorties.
