National Airborne Service Corps Duty Implementation Statistics in March 2021

  1. Disaster relief

    1. Response to fire: 35 sorties, 620 kg of material, equipment or fuel carried, 374 tons of water dropped, 187 water dropping runs.

    2. Response to major accident: 7 sorties.



  2. Search & rescue

    1. Search and rescue in the mountains: 18 sorties, 22 people rescued, 5 passengers, 150 kg of material, equipment or fuel carried.

    2. Search and rescue at sea: 25 sorties, 1 person rescued.



  3. Emergency medical

    1. Medical referral: 7 sorties, 7 people rescued, 7 passengers.



  4. Reconnaissance

    1. Maritime (coastal) aerial patrol: 5 sorties.

    2. Aerial photography for homeland planning: 10 sorties.



  5. Transportation: 1 sortie, 9 passengers, 1,192 kg of material, equipment or fuel carried.

  6. Preparation

    1. Exercise (drill): 4 sorties.

    2. Training flight: 134 sorties.

    3. Maintenance flight (factory flight test): 73 sorties.

    4. Test run: 121 sorties.

    5. Joined duty training: 2 sorties.
