In order to cope with the decline in children and the aging population, the Ministry of the Interior continued to conduct match-matching activities. From 2018 to 2022, the total number of participants were 6,006. As of June 1, 2023, 377 people have been married from participants in 2018 and 239 children were born, 290 people have been married from participants in 2019 and 155 children were born, 120 people have been married from participants in 2020 and 37 children were born, 46 people have been married from participants in 2021 and 2022 and 5 children were born.
The purpose of holding match-matching activities is to increase the opportunities for single men and women to get to know each other. From dating to marriage, it still depends on the two parties getting along and adapting. The longer the observation period is ,the more the number of marriages and children are.
