As the world enters the AI era, Central Police University (CPU), aligning with government initiatives like the "Big Data Policy Promotion" and "Smart Government" under the Technology Policy, has actively planned a series of digital transformation courses for faculty and staff. On Thursday, November 7, 2024, CPU organized two sessions of the "Big Data and Excel Pivot Analysis" course, inviting seed instructors from various units and interested faculty and staff. Approximately 60 people participated in this training session, and seed instructors are encouraged to conduct internal training within their units to enhance all colleagues' competitiveness in digital tool applications.
The use of digital tools such as big data analytics and Excel Pivot Analysis enables rapid completion of tasks like aggregation, classification, and filtering, presenting business charts through data visualization techniques. This helps users summarize key data points, providing decision-making analysis and significantly improving efficiency in administrative work. This training began by introducing commonly used information systems and data from government open data platforms, followed by practical applications of big data import and various Excel Pivot Analysis functions. Participants strengthened their data processing and analysis skills, applying what they learned to enhance personal work efficiency.
Looking ahead, CPU will continue to promote related training to ensure that every colleague can flexibly utilize data in the AI era, providing precise decisions and services.
