The Architecture and Building Research Institute of the Ministry of the Interior organized the Seminar on Fire Safety Technology for Indoor and Outdoor Energy Storage Systems

  • PostDate:2024-09-10 17:58

Energy storage systems(ESS) play a crucial role in promoting the application of renewable energy, enhancing grid efficiency, and advancing sustainable development goals. These systems not only align with net-zero carbon emission targets but also reflect the modern enterprise's commitment to environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) responsibilities.
However, with the widespread use of ESS, the risk of fire incidents has also increased. This is especially true for ESS equipment installed within buildings, where effective fire prevention and mitigation strategies have become a major concern for the public and industry alike.
This seminar aims to explore fire risk assessment and mitigation strategies for ESS, drawing on the research and expertise of leading scholars. The goal is to provide the industry with scientifically sound reference materials and technical support.
This seminar is open to government agencies, urban planners, building management and public works officials, fire safety personnel, as well as architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, fire protection engineers, interior designers, renovation professionals, energy storage companies, property insurance firms, and students and professionals from related fields such as architecture and fire safety.
The aim of this seminar is to foster exchange and collaboration across these sectors, enhance safety management standards for ESS, and support the advancement of disaster prevention and mitigation efforts in building safety
