Students attending a junior college or above can apply for phased military training, split into two stages across two summer breaks, to complete the required regular military service. Applications are from October 16th 10 A.M. to November 15th 5 P.M. (subject to the announcement by the Ministry of the Interior). When the number of applicants exceeds the number of openings announced, the National Conscription Agency, Ministry of the Interior will draw lots to determine the accepted applicants. Accepted applicants will be notified by the district office where the domicile place is registered.
