The Ministry of the Interior arranges the 4th discussion session with The 10th Committee of Religious Affair Consultant
In order to broadly engage with all religious and other communities and handle any disagreements on matters of religion through respectful and constructive discourse, the Ministry of the Interior (MOI) has arranged 4 discussion sessions during October to November in 2019 with The 10th Committee of Religious Affair Consultant, and has separately invited Buddhism, Taoism, Christian, Catholic, I-Kuan Tao etc. religious communities to attend the discussion.
The 4th discussion session with The 10th Committee of Religious Affair Consultant took place on November 27 in Presbyter Bible College in Hsinchu. It was jointly organized with the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan (PCT) and hosted by the Minister HSU KUO-YUNG.
The Minister remarks following:
In order to ensure the sound development of religious groups in addition to respect various religious rites, customs and traditions, the MOI will make efforts to promote and protect religious freedom and assist religious and other communities to cope with the problems they face.
