Central Police University's "Police Science Quarterly" Had the Honor to Win the 2019 Knowledge Communication Award and the Best Communication in a Periodical Award of the National Central Library
In order to deepen the academics and theories of the police political security, the Central Police University founded the nation's first policing academic journal "Police Science Quarterly" in September, 1970. Since its inception, the "Police Science Quarterly" has devoted itself to innovating and diving into police political academics, following the social pulse, constantly in all the issues related to social security and people's welfare, such as police administration, police business, police regulations, law enforcement standards, crime statistics, crime prevention, community policing, criminal investigation, forensic science, firefighting, and disaster relief. It has always been the head of the police academia, and each issue is also sent to the Library of Congress (USA) and libraries all over our country for collection.
This year, the National Central Library (NCL) held "the Taiwan’s Academic Impact Awards" in the International Conference Hall, 3rd floor of NCL, from 9 to 12 am on Friday, March 29th, 2019. Relevant awards such as academic communication and knowledge sharing were awarded at the conference. Central Police University's "Police Science Quarterly" also had the honor to be awarded two of the awards, namely, “Taiwan Citation Index-Humanities and Social Sciences”, ranked 3rd in Sociology in the Knowledge Communication Award, and “Index to Taiwan Periodical Literature System”, ranked 4th in the Best Communication in a Periodical Award.
"Police Science Quarterly" was recognized with distinction. Over the years, under the efforts of teachers and students of the whole school, we have devoted ourselves to innovating and delving into the academic fields related to policing and public security. The published academic dissertations are referenced and reprinted with permission by professionals in the related fields. In future, the "Police Science Quarterly" will be more cautious and be engaged in the innovation and promotion of police academics.
