Chinese political figures allowed to visit TaiwanDeputy Minister of the Interior Lin Join-sane

says during a news conference held after a

Cabinet meeting Thursday that the government has

decided to allow Chinese party and political

figures, who are invited by government agencies

and the semi-official Straits Exchange

Foundation, to come to Taiwan to boost

exchanges.
