Recognizing an assetInterior Minister Chen Wei-zen (陳威仁) announcing an initiative to allow the children of Taiwan's foreign spouses to learn the language spoken by their mothers at a press event held last Saturday in Taipei. Set to kick off on July 1, the program will pay the airfare for 100 youngsters to visit their mother's homeland, with the hope that they may serve as Taiwan's non-official representatives to Southeast Asian countries.
