Prohibited Activities Regulations in the Domain of South Penghu Marine National Park

  1. Any display, sale, or transport of animals, plants, minerals, fossils, artifacts, and their specimens or derived products which are illegal or shall be protected under the law, is prohibited.

  2. The capturing of organisms, collecting of rocks, minerals, fossils, coral, coral rocks, or other natural items, or attempting marine salvaging of submerged archeological artifacts without the authorization of the Marine National Park Headquarters (hereinafter referred to as the MNPH) is prohibited.

  3. It is prohibited to lower anchor within the coral reef area, establish artificial reefs or facilities, use chemical agents, pollutants, or partake in any action that could damage the coral reefs or the marine environment, without the permission of the MNPH.

  4. It is prohibited for personnel, ships, or other vehicles to pull into the shore, sea grooves, sea caves, or coast of the Special Landscape Area without the permission of the MNPH.

  5. Participating in rock climbing and other related activities within the Special Landscape Area without the permission of the MNPH is prohibited.

  6. It is prohibited to damage public property, public facilities, and natural or artificial landscape scenery.

  7. Lighting firecrackers, fireworks, or sky lanterns is prohibited, with the exception of special holiday festivities, local folk traditions, and religious occasions.

  8. Any releasing or abandoning of animals or feeding and disturbing wild animals  is prohibited.

  9. Vending stalls are prohibited.

  10. Political activities and actions with the potential to cause social disputes or conflict are prohibited.
