Ceremony of Ambulance Donation from Wulu Caishen Temple and the President of Central Police University Chen Che-wen – enhancing campus safety with selfless contribution.

In order to carry forward the giving spirit and improve the quality of emergency medical service in campus, Wulu Caishen Temple, located in Shihding of New Taipei City, together with the president Chen Che-wen donated an ambulance to CPU. The donation ceremony was held in Wulu Caishen Temple at 10 on Monday, August 16, 2021. The chairperson Tian Chao-yi as the donator and the president Chen Che-wen as recipient attended the ceremony of launching and awarding for the purpose of expressing the greatest respect to the donator.

The president Chen has been devoting to make the campus better since he was inaugurated on January 15, 2021. The government has prioritized its budgeting on pandemic presentation and economic relief. Because of the shortage on the active campus ambulance and lack of governmental funds, Chen has actively assisted in campus fundraising and donated a new ambulance together with Wulu Caishen Temple . He made great contribution to the university and it’s so touched.

The donated ambulance is state-of-the-art which was imported from Korea and costs NT$1.9 million dollars. The first aid equipment on board is not only qualified in the inspection of Taoyuan City Government for general ambulance, but also equipped with advanced first aid gears, such as the latest stretcher, cardiac board (CPR board) and combat application tourniquet (C-A-T). It’s expected that the equipment on board could come in handy when the emergency occurs.

It’s wholeheartedly grateful that Wulu Caishen Temple is involved in charity actively and dedicated selflessly. Wulu Caishen Temple provided sophisticated first aid equipment to improve the safety and the efficacy of emergency aid on campus. They also desired to arouse the awareness of the importance of safety on campus with this event.
