To improve the ability of management personnel (including management cadres) of various agencies and service units in dealing with physical and mental distress, unauthorized resignation, self-injury behaviors, and build supportive care skills and strengthen the responsibilities of management cadres and training suicide prevention goalkeepers and anti-drug seeds, every year, the National Conscription Agency is divided into North, Central, South, and East, four districts, to handle alternative military service management personnel (including management cadres) counseling and education study on the ability and knowledge of anti-drug seed training.
In the year 110, the Eastern Region Alternative Military Service Managers (including management cadres) counseling and education study program on the ability and knowledge of suicide prevention goalkeeping and anti-drug seed training are being held at Taitung province on April 14. It is led by the Director-General Kung, Chang Jen, where about 50 people from the eastern part of the alternative service managers and management cadres would participate. In the study program, in addition to explaining the alternative military service management regulations and consulting and counseling mechanism by our colleagues, the agency also invites Professor Wang, Ming Wen from National Taitung University to give a lecture on suicide prevention and care counseling techniques. The conscription agency’s inspector Wu, Chai Ping, who is responsible for the alternative military servicemen’s drug abuse prevention, would lecture on the mechanism of drug abuse prevention and the recognition of the drugs’ danger. Through this study program, the agency improves the suicide prevention and care counseling skills and anti-drug knowledge of alternative military managers and management cadres and effectively assists servicemen in solving problems and saying no to drugs.
