National Airborne Service Corps Duty Implementation Statistics in April 2021

  1. Disaster relief

    1. Response to fire: 23 sorties, 454 tons of water dropped, 227 water dropping runs.

    2. Response to major accident: 8 sorties, 20 passengers, 50kg of material, equipment or fuel carried.



  2. Search & rescue

    1. Search and rescue in the mountains: 15 sorties, 14 people rescued, 2 passengers.

    2. Search and rescue at sea: 31 sorties, 3 people rescued.



  3. Emergency medical

    1. Medical referral: 7 sorties, 8 people rescued, 7 passengers.



  4. Reconnaissance

    1. Maritime (coastal) aerial patrol: 9 sorties.



  5. Transportation: 2 sorties, 5 passengers, 1,200 kg of material, equipment or fuel carried.

  6. Preparation

    1. Exercise (drill): 10 sorties.

    2. Training flight: 153 sorties.

    3. Test run: 105 sorties.

    4. Joined duty training: 5 sorties.

    5. Maintenance flight (factory flight test): 68 sorties.
