The 2025 3D Building Model results is officially released today. Three categories of datasets are now available. Their coverage and pricing are as follows:
- 3D Building Model (Level of Detail 1)
Available in KMZ format. Coverage includes Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taichung City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Pingtung County, Hualien County, and Taitung County, covering eight cities and counties. Please refer to the attachment for the detailed update list and pricing. - 3D building model made from 1:1000-scale Topographic Map (Level of detail 1＆2)
Available in KMZ format. Coverage includes 13 urban planning areas located in Taichung City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Pingtung County, and Taitung County. Please refer to the attachment for the detailed update list and pricing. - 3D building model merged from Level of detail 1 to 3
Available in KMZ format. Coverage includes Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taichung City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Pingtung County, Hualien County, and Taitung County, covering a total of eight cities and counties. Please refer to the attachment for the detailed update list and pricing.
The aforementioned data are available for order starting today via fax, email, post or in-person application. Online purchasing will be available from August 7, 2026 through the Taiwan Map Store (https://whgis-nlsc.moi.gov.tw/), where users can browse, search, and purchase the desired data. We encourage wide promotion and application of this dataset.
