The first batch of the 2025 3D Road Model results is officially released today. For the 2025 project, the NLSC produced 3D road models for roads at the street level and above in Changhua County, Chiayi County, Pingtung County, Penghu County, and Chiayi City, while also performing maintenance and updates for National Freeways. This batch includes KML format results for the 3D Road Model (Level of detail 1) covering 15 counties and cities: Keelung City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Taichung City, Nantou County, Changhua County, Yunlin County, Chiayi County, Chiayi City, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, and Penghu County. The aforementioned data are available for order starting today via fax, email, post or in-person application. Online purchasing will be available from May 22 ,2026 through the Taiwan Map Store (https://whgis-nlsc.moi.gov.tw/), where users can browse, search, and purchase the desired data. We encourage wide promotion and application of this dataset.
