To address the challenges of caregiving labor shortages and the lack of specialized senior housing, digital gerontechnology has emerged as a key solution. To actively leverage technology to enhance the quality of life for seniors at home, the ABRI is promoting the "Residential Field Verification and Methodology Draft Development Project for Digital Gerontechnology Products and Services." This initiative aims to help businesses optimize their products, accurately meet the needs of healthy and sub-healthy seniors aged 65 and above, and lower the barriers to integrating these technologies into residential spaces.
The Project offers three core mentorship resources to help businesses strengthen market competitiveness and facilitate the adoption of gerontechnology in homes, including: Value Proposition Mentorship – Precisely define market advantages and enhance commercial competitiveness and differentiation, Cross-Disciplinary Expert Positioning – Gain customized advice from experts in architecture, healthcare, and venture capital, and Residential Field Validation – Conduct tests in real-world senior housing environments to verify product applicability and user experience.
These briefing sessions will provide a comprehensive overview of the application process, mentorship workflows, and successful case studies.
