Key points of future works

(A) Fully carry out the 10-year plan for NGIS implementation and promotion, and coordinate with each government units in speeding up data warehouse building, data distribution and sharing, as well as data standards specification.
(B) The U-life Team set up in coordination with the National Information and Communication Initiative of Executive Yuan in implementation of the "High-quality Network Society Development Plan" (also known as the U-Taiwan Plan) should assume the role of convening and coordinate all related units in pushing forward the business to achieve Executive Yuan's goal of solving people's problems encountered in all aspects of daily life – dining, medicine, residence, transportation, education and entertainment – from the point of view of user and non-PC groups. It should also coordinate in creating innovative application services for information and communication technologies in key application areas such as family, society, work, learning, culture and leisure.
(C) Proactively promote the use of the Citizen Digital Certificate and coordinate various government units in developing web-based systems for subscription and use of the certificate. Expand web-based citizenship authentication and make promotion to enhance people's subscription and use, so as to boost e-government performance.
(D) Build overall informatized environment for social administration businesses; keep assisting the Department of Social Affairs in promotion of "Integrated Social Administration Information System", "National Pension Qualification Review System for Income Below Specified Level", and "Care Service Information Management System" in order to enforce care service industry and to achieve the goal of concern for minority groups; keep assisting the Department of Social Affairs in building system for nation-wide social welfare and subsidy comparison, in order to eliminate redundant payments for social fairness and justice; also build centralized registration of social welfare resources by compiling nation-wide social welfare benefit payment data, to realize single-window data provisioning and to provide better data for decision by the superior. All are to enhance quality of services provided to the people and to boost government administration quality.
(E) Expand the scope of infiltration test services on MOI's information security monitoring through the security operations center (SOC), to assist subsidiary organizations in fortifying web-site information security defensibility; enhance education and training on MOI employees' sense of information security to use computer in a correct manner and to reduce possibility of letting in backdoor type of malicious programs that will cause public or private data leakage.
(F) Keep maintaining MOI's world-wide web (WWW) system and related web sites of specific theme; and assist each unit in constant update of web pages.
(G) Assist Personnel Department to set up MOI's digital learning portal, platform and contents in order to build MOI's digital learning mechanism that will allow our employees to pursue the goal of self-learning and growing.
(H) Strengthen provision of diversified information services to employees of MOI and its subsidiary organizations by introducing application of information and communication technologies, exchanging related knowledge and sharing experiences; keep compiling and distributing the "Information Service Communication" bi-monthly to MOI's employees for reference.
